The economy being what it is, veterinary care for a dog, a cat, or any other type of pet is often too expensive for the pet’s family to afford. It is estimated that of all households in the U.S., about 46.3 million own a dog, which transfers into between 37% and 47% of American homes that house at least one canine cutie.
